Mary L. Harrell 86, of Bedford, passed away at 7:06 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Westview Nursing and Rehab in Bedford.
Born February 11, 1931 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Ras W. and Noble May (Myers) Cox.
Mary worked for Sears in Bedford.
Surviving relatives include: one son, Ward Lee Harrell of Mitchell; one grandson, Christopher Charles Harrell of Bloomington; one granddaughter Erica Rene Harrell of Odon: and two great grandchildren, Shawn Kortz and Alexis Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray F. Harrell on December 3, 1990, one son, Glenn Wayne Harrell, two brothers, Joe Cox and Raymond Cox, her daughter-in-law, Rhonda G. Harrell on December 10, 2014 and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Craig Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Calvertville cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
