Obituary

Marty Lane Johnson, age 49, entered into eternal life at 1:00 am on Sunday, November 7, 2010. He was born October 20, 1961, the son of Jackie D. and Linda (Burch) Johnson. He was a graduate of Eastern High School. Marty loved playing drums and electric guitar and was a member of the Knight Riders Band with Gary and Danny Dobson. He was a member of the Pride & Joy Cloggers for three years. He was a member of the Eastern Greene Fire Department. Marty served his country on several tours of duty while in the United States Army CDR 1313th Engineering Company, Camp Atterbury and DET 1, Btry B 2D 150th FA, and overseas deployment with the 1438 th Trans. Co. He was most recently employed by the Second Street Antique Mall and Boston Scientific.
Marty leaves behind a wife, Ronda (Eads) Johnson whom he married February 14, 1987, three sons, Jack Tyler (Amber) of Solsberry, Brandon Ray (Sarah) of Solsberry and Austin Daniel and daughter, Kayla Lynn still at home. One granddaughter, Graceland Elizabeth. His Mother, Linda K. (Burch) Johnson of Solsberry, Mother & Father In-law, Ron and Linda Eads of Bloomington. Brother and Sister In laws: Kevin & Ronita Walcott, Ronnie & Tammy Eads, Mike & Ronessa Lenning, Jason & Ronica Walcott, Ronson & Lorrene Eads, and may cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Jackie D. Johnson, Grandparents Claude & Bonnie Burch and Aunts Margaret Burch and Carol Shelton.
Friends may call at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield on Tuesday from 4 – 8 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Solsberry cemetery. Donations can be made to The Johnson Children C/O Ronita Walcott Monroe Bank Acct #2270 645
