Martha Jane (Scottie) Gastineau
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Scottie passed from this life on November 9, 2013 at the age of 75. Her passing was calm and peaceful with loved ones at her side.
She was born on May 19, 1938 in Bloomfield, Indiana to Agnes Scott and James Pearson. A Lifelong homemaker who also managed the Paul Harris store in Plainfield in the 1970's. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, animals, painting and was quite active on the garage sale circuit. She deeply loved her family and will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, John L. Gastineau; her three sons, John, Michael and Damon; Nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Countryside Meadows in Avon for their care and consideration.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.
Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday until the hour of services at the funeral home.
