Martha June Evans' Obituary
Martha June (Malone) Blevins Evans, 90, of Elnora, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon.
Born April 1, 1933 in Newberry, she was the daughter of Walter Burton and Hazel (Sipes) Malone.
She was the owner and operator of the Long Branch Saloon in Elnora. She was a member of the Odon VFW Auxiliary post 9627 and Elnora American Legion Auxiliary post 245 and the Newberry Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include: three Sons, Randy Blevins (Bobbie Sue) of Odon, Ronnie Blevins (Josie) of Virginia Beach, Jimmy Blevins of Newberry; her step children, Kay Faulk, James Evans and Bob Evans; grandchildren, Joshua James Blevins, Bradley Neal Blevins, Brittany Nicole Blevins, and Haley Marie Blevins; one great grandchild, Landon Benjamin Spears; and a sister, Katherine Huffine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Evans on March 10, 1980, her siblings, Wilson Pickett, Carol Malone, Clyde "Jack" Malone, Woody Malone, Farol Ray, Peggy Sweitzer, Mabel Malone and Norman "Buck" Malone and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Jack Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
