Martha Jane Edwards, 74, of Lyons, passed away at 9:58 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born March 25, 1940 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Gilbert and Doris (Ashcraft) Reynolds.
She was a manager for Peoples Bank in Lyons and attended the Lyons Church of Christ. She was a member of Cass United Methodist Church and the M & M Club.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Conrad Edwards whom she married on July 23, 1960; two sons, Kyle Edwards (Jane) of Franklin and Kerry Edwards (Susan) of Shelburn; one sister, Betty Chambers (Roy Bill) of Dugger; four grandchildren, Lauren, Shelby, Luke and Emily; two brother-in laws, Charles Crowe and Carp Abbott.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Cook and Sandra Kay Crowe, sister-in-law, Sharlene Abbott, one infant brother and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Lyons, with Rev. Don Reed and Mike Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Lyons Food Pantry.
