Marlene Goodwin, 85, of Lyons passed away Monday July 29, 2019 at her residence.

Born July 15, 1934 in Bloomfield, Indiana the daughter of Virgil Ray and Mildred (Busby) Strosnider.

Marlene was a homemaker, a seamstress and made the best pie crust around, she was a member of the Switz City Full Gospel Church, and a past member of the Lyons Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Vicki Campbell, one grandson, Richard Darby Hodges, one granddaughter, Dana (Matt) Clayton, her great-grandchildren, Kali Marie Hodges, Jayden Jackson, Rowan, Dalton, Avril and Olivia Clayton, one brother, Merlin (Becky) Strosnider, one sister, Joyce Ulrich, a sister-in-law, Elsie Strosnider, several nieces and nephews.

Marlene was preceded in death by one son, Casey Lane Goodwin, one grandson, David Ryan Hodges, her husband Victor Joe Goodwin, one brother, Carl Strosnider and her parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday and 1 P.M. Saturday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons with Pastor Vernon Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
