Marjorie Ellen Stollings

Marjorie Ellen Stollings, 91, of Lyons, passed away Friday, October 30, 2026, at 9:06 a.m. at Owen Valley Health & Rehabilitation.

Born September 7, 1935, in Newberry, Indiana, she was the daughter of James R. Hasler and Marie (Felton) Hasler.

Marjorie was a hardworking woman who spent many years working in assembly line factory positions. She was a member of Lyons United Methodist Church and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary in Lyons, Indiana.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Jane Hilterbrand (Steve) of Avilla, Indiana, and Greg Stollings (Terri) of Lyons, Indiana; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy Pickett; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Hollingsworth-Stollings and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Stollings; her sons, Larry Stollings and Jay Stollings; her grandson, Brandon; two great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Ralph Hasler, Frances Hasler, and Connie Lucas.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Bob Bruner officiating. There will be no public visitation. Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society or the Lyons American Legion Auxiliary Post # 479.
