Marcus "Mark" Emery, 70, of Bloomfield passed away at 8:48 A.M. on December 4, 2007 at his residence.
Born October 21, 1937 in Greene County, Indiana he was the son of Virgil & Ruth (Carnegie) Emery.
He was retired from RCA/Thompson's Consumer Electronics in Bloomington as a fork lift driver. He was a member of the Mansions in Heaven Church in Bloomfield. He was a 1955 graduate of Scotland High School.
Surviving relatives include his wife of 47 years Carolyn (Skinner) Emery of Bloomfield. His children Kristi Parkes of Bloomfield, Kevin Emery & Marlita Emery both of Worthington. 3 grandchildren Brittany Parkes, Jonathon Beaudry, & Logan Wisneiski. 2 Brothers Harold "Buck" Emery of Bloomfield, & Danny Emery of Switz City. 1 sister Mary M. Hamilton of Bloomfield. Several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 Brothers, & 2 Sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday December 6, 2007 and 10:00 A.M. till the hour Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday december 7, 2007 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
