Lynda Lou Thornton's Obituary
Lynda Lou Thornton, 68, of Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Greene County General Hospital.
Born November 25, 1953 in Linton, she was the daughter of Clyde and Iva Jean (Sullivan) Groomer.
She was a homemaker and attended Gethsemane Tabernacle Church in Bloomfield.
Surviving relatives include: two sons, Johnny Sherer (Leslie) and Grant Thornton (Samantha); one brother, Toad Groomer; her grandchildren, Corbin, Addison, Bailey, Alanna and Chloe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, David, Bobby and Delbert Groomer.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Hash cemetery in rural Bloomfield. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
