Lowell Eugene Resler III, better known as JR Resler, 42, of Bloomfield, lost his battle to cancer on Sunday December 1, 2024 .

Born January 22, 1982 in Linton, he was the son of Lowell Eugene Resler Jr. and Kimbrely Dawn (Ausman) Wade.

JR was a dump truck operator for Nash & Sons.

His biggest joy in life was being a father to his two boys. JR enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing with his RC cars. in his free time, you could find him tinkering in his shed building something.

Surviving relatives include: his son, Harley Resler; fiancée, Alissa Lee; his parents, Kim & Rick Wade; sister, Misti Hays, nephew, Erick Resler, grandparents, Frank Burch, Lee & Georgianna Wade

He was preceded in death by his Father, Lowell Eugene Resler, Jr., one son, Gavin Resler, a grandmother, Penny Burch and a cousin, Alicia Ausman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral home in Bloomfield, with Erick Resler officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday and 1 hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Jenkins Funeral Home in assist with final expenses.
