Obituary

Linda Mae VanHentenryck 78, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Born October 26, 1947 in Linton, Indiana, she was the daughter of Calvin C. and Naomi (Burch) Price.

Linda was an RN for many area hospitals before retiring from Greene County General Hospital. She attended Freedom Hill Church.

Surviving relatives include: her husband, Joseph VanHentenryck; her children, Tony Michael (Mildred), Jeff Michael (Kim Martindale), Lora Raley (Michael) and Curtis Anderson (Ashlee); two sisters, Kathy Aldridge and Wanda Gluff; sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Michael and Joe Anderson; one sister, June Miller and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Word of Life Fellowship Church in Bloomfield, with Pastor Russell Mills and Pastor Eugene Helms officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the Word of Life Fellowship Church in Bloomfield. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Samaritan’s Purse in Linda’s name.
