Obituary

Lelia E. Lindsey, 94, of Switz City passed away Saturday July 3, 2010 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Lelia was born June 6, 1916 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of Oliver and Ida (Floyd) Rader.
She was a school teacher teaching at King School in Tulip, Scotland, Worthington and Switz City. She was member of the Arion Club, Home Economic Club, Indiana State Teachers Association and the Switz City Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include two sons Frank (Mary) Lindsey of Newburg, Indiana; Steve (Retta) Lindsey of Switz City, Indiana. Four grandchildren Jeffrey Lindsey of Baumholder, Germany; Rev. David Lindsey of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Brianne Lindsey of Wilmington, North Carolina and Lee Lindsey of Switz City, Indiana.
Lelia was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Ida (Floyd) Rader, her husband Richard C. Lindsey on June 5, 1976; two sisters Sallie Workman and twin sister Celia Graves and one brother Palmer Rader.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. on Thursday July 8, 2010 and 10 A.M. Friday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday July 9, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. David B. Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
