Leata Jane Bowlen's Obituary
Leata Jane Bowlen, 64, of Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 19, 1959 in Crane, Indiana, she was the daughter of Quincy Rollins, Jr. and Mary Jane (Allen) Webster.
She worked for many cleaning services in the area.
Surviving relatives include: her children, Melissa Schloesser (Jeremiah), Josh Bowlen (Krystle) and James Bowlen (Melissa) all of Bloomington; her mother, Mary Webster (Mark) of Columbus; siblings, James Dean Rollins of Mooresville and Thomas David Rollins of Bloomington; and her six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Christy West and her father.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Edwards Cemetery in rural Solsberry. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Jenkins Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
