Leah "Margaret" Hasler, 87, of Bloomfield died Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Ketchem Memorial Center in Odon, Indiana.
She was born March 24, 1923 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Roscoe E. and Evangeline (Bridges) Butz.
During her life she was a homemaker, owner/manager of Dave-Mar Lake in Newberry, and worked at the Newberry Cafe. She was a member of the Newberry United Methodist Church and the Newberry Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving relatives include her son Ronald Hasler (Diane) of Bloomfield; a granddaughter Jennifer Troutman (Dusty) of Cicero, Indiana; a sister Clara Foddrill of Spencer, Indiana; a brother George Butz (Sue) of Newberry, Indiana; a sister-in-law Opal Soliday and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband David Hasler in July 1971, her parents and a step mother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday March 1, 2011 and 10am Wednesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday March 2, 2011 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Steve Dunkel officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.
