Laura Mae Parsley, 88 of Owensburg passed away Saturday May 14, 2022 at White River Lodge in Bedford.

Born May 27, 1933 in Burns City, Indiana the daughter of Alpha and Della Mae (Johnson) Walls.

Laura was a homemaker, she was a member of the Delta Theta Tau, the Springville Christian Church, she attended the Owensburg Baptist Church and Popcorn Christian Church, she was a graduate of Oolitic High School in 1952.

Surviving relatives include her husband Robert "Bob" Parsley, her children, Sheryl (Kevin) Myers, Rob Parsley, her three grandchildren, Laura (James) Gossman, Andrew (Fawna) Myers, Tim Myers, six great grandchildren, Page Gossman, Jack Gossman, Jase Gossman, Grace Mullis, Isaac Mullis, Tyler Mullis, her three sisters, Betty Parsley, Joyce Chauliaux and Sue Herth.

Laura was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and 11 A.M. Monday until the hour of service at the Owensburg Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday at the Owensburg Baptist Church with Bruce Deckard and Rev. Jay Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Owensburg Cemetery.

The family wishes any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Laura's name.
