Laura Easter, 76, of Newberry, Indiana passed away Sunday November 13, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born December 23, 1934 in Aberdeen, Mississippi the daughter of James Arvil and Nora Lee (Welch) Childers.
Laura was a homemaker and a member of the Crane Southern Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include her two sons Ricky Easter of Bloomington, Indiana and James Easter of Riley, Indiana; one daughter Michelle Quearry of Bloomfield, Indiana; one sister Shirley Price, two brothers; William Childers and Timothy Lee Childers all of Mississippi, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Josiah Quearry, her husband Neil Avron Easter, a brother James Childers and her parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Allen Haynes officiating. Burial will be at New Canaan Cemetery in Empire, Alabama.
