Kenneth L. Lucas, 75, of Bloomfield passed away at 10:55 P.M. on Sunday December 13, 2009 at Westminister Village North in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Born September 15, 1934 in Bloomfield he was the son of Raymond T. and Mildred (Allen) Lucas.
Kenneth was a self employed carpenter and a member of the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge # 84, Bloomfield First Christian Church and the Bloomfield Jaycees.
Surviving relatives include one daughter Krista A. Lawyer and her husband Robert of Fishers, Indiana; two sons Ricky L. Lucas of Bloomington, Indiana and James Bradley Lucas of Bloomfield. Three grandchildren Steven Lawyer, Evan Lawyer and Lucas Lawyer all of Fishers. One brother James Ray Lucas of Greenwood, and one sister Betty Jo Steward of Bloomfield, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Sarah D. (Sullivan) Lucas on June 2, 2004 and his parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Wednesday December 16, 2009 and 1 P.M. Thursday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday December 17, 2009 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
