Kathy E. Floyd, 67, of Bloomfield passed away Friday May 13, 2016 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born September 14, 1948 in Bloomington, Indiana the daughter of Glen and Elizabeth (VanMeter) Combs.
Kathy was a 1966 graduate of Eastern High School, she had worked in Banking since 1966, starting at First National Bank, then she worked at Bank One, and retired from United Commerce Bank all in Bloomington.She was a member of the Bloomington American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving relatives include her husband Donald G. Floyd of Bloomfield, they married on July 2, 1966, three daughters, Robin New, Shannon (David "Buck") Russell all of Bloomfield and Natalie (Eric) Trosky of Linton, she has four grandchildren, Cody (Leslie) New of Bloomington, Mikaela (Courtney) Gilstrap of Bedford, Sierra New and Davis Russell both of Bloomfield, one great grandson, Bennett New, one brother, David (Rachel) Combs of Springville and one sister, Linda (Ron) Tincher of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by one brother Howard Combs and her parents.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside service will be held on Sunday May 15, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Solsberry Cemetery.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Solsberry Cemetery or the Cincinnati Christian Church.
