Kathleen Osburn 94, of Bloomfield, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2006 at 5:32 p.m. at Bloomington Hospital.
Born January 9, 1912 in Lyons. She was the daughter of John M. and Donna (Neidigh) Sheehe.
She was a retired school teacher of 41 years in Indiana at Switz City schools, Ohio, and Missouri. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Missouri, Delta Kappa Gamma soroity, and the Bloomfield Baptist Church. She graduated from Ross Business College in Grand Junction, Colorado and also attended Indiana State University, Arkansas State University, and Indiana University.
Survivors include: one niece, Mary Ann Hutchinson of Lincolnshire, Illinois; one nephew, Dr. Richard Osburn of Utah; two great nieces and three great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul K. Osburn in 1989, and one sister, Jeannette Helms.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday March 17, 2006 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Joe Overman and Rev. Brent Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Chapel cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 1 hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
