Joyce Evelyn McRoberts, 87, of Odon, passed away at 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 27, 1926 in Martin County, she was the daughter of Eldridge Clinton and Flora Catherine (Martin) Inman.
Joyce retired from NSWC Crane in the ordinance department.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Jack McRoberts of Odon; her children, Jackie Eager of Mitchell, Martin McRoberts (Ruth) of Bloomfield and Catherine Sparks (Jeff) of Solsberry; grandchildren, Gary Eager, Marty Eager, Stephanie Harley, Julie Troxel, Justin McRoberts and Curtis Sparks; and Thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Amy Eager Mahan and Ryan Sparks, brothers, Dwight Inman, Joe Inman and Harold Inman and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Scotland cemetery.
Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 1 hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
