Joyce Ann Harper, 87, of Bloomington passed away Saturday March 16, 2024 at her residence.

Born July 30, 1936 in Bloomington, Indiana the daughter of Kenneth Sparks and Hazel (Todd) Hurley.

Joyce was a homemaker, she attended the Full Gospel Tabernacle and Clear Creek Christian Church, she was a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving relatives include her children, Larry (Ilene) Sherfield, Terrye Stewart, Ed (Gen) Sherfield, Charles "Frank" (Judy) Sherfield, Annett (Brian) Griffin, step-daughter, Sherri Harper, adopted son, Chris Harper, brother, Clifton Sparks, sister, Theresa Boltinghouse, her grandchildren, Levon Sherfield, Jack Sherfield, Desiree Negeroni, Penny Sinn, Travis Davidson, Matt Sherfield, David Griffin, Tim Griffin, Jennifer Harper, Jason Harper, Colton Harper and several great-grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie "Red" Harper, one son Gary Sherfield, three brothers, Bob Sparks, Marvin Sparks, Dean Sparks and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 20, 2024 from 11 A.M. till 1 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
