Joyce Ann English, 66, of Solsberry, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2012 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 11, 1946 in Pitt County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Ralph and Dell (Waters) Tuten.
She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shaylee Kay Early, brothers, Charlie, Oscar, and Luther Taylor, sisters, Myrtle Ann Jones and Jo Ann Taylor Sebesta and her parents.
Surviving relatives include: her daughter, Dorinda Kay Bauer of Solsberry; son, James T. English of Solsberry; Life Partner, Charles Deckard of Solsberry; son-in-law, James R. Bauer of Solsberry; grandchildren, Sara Ann Newton, Shelby Newton, Josh Corlett and wife Amanda Corlett, Brandi Corlett and the spouse of Shaylee Early, Clint Early of Petersburg; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Bryer and Siarra Early, Jayden and Sophia Corlett, Brayden (Dwight) Marling, Emma and Oriana Corlett; and a sister, Louise Taylor Edwards of North Carolina.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Solsberry cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 1 hour prior to services Monday at the Funeral Home.
