Dr. Jose M. Lardizabal, 83, of Bloomfield passed away at 11:50am on January 8, 2006 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born December 30, 1922 in San Jose Batangas Philippines he was the son of Sergio & Enriqueta (Marquez) Lardizabal.
He graduated from Manila Central University in 1951, Dr. Jose started his family practice in Bloomfield in 1967 & Retired in August of 1992. He was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church, Indiana Medical Society, Past President of the Greene County Medical Society, Representative of the Cancer Society, & a former member of the Bloomfield Rotary. He married Willie on November 4, 1956 in St. louis, MO.
Survivers include his wife Willie (Johnston) Lardizabal. 1 son Jose R. Lardizabal & his friend Geraldine Reker of Bloomington. 2 Daughters Rita A. of Indianapolis & Patricia & Her Husband Keith Graves of Bloomfield. 1 Granddaughter Vanessa R. Lardizabal. 1 Sister Emy L. Fabie
He was preceded in death by sisters Leonora, & Josefa. 1 Brother Pedro
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday January 12, 2006 at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Bloomfield with Father Michael T. Madden officiating burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
