John William White's Obituary
John William White, 64, of Lyons, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2016 at his residence in Lyons.
Born August 21, 1951 in Linton, he was the son of William H. and Ruth L. (Wilcoxen) White Griffith.
He served his country with the United States Army.
Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Zondra (Mike) Bailey of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Meagan and Cole Bailey of Bloomfield; one sister, Marsha Hasteman of Dugger; one brother, Ranny White of Linton; two half brothers, Charles Griffith and Carl Griffith of Terre Haute, and three step brothers, Ronnie Griffith of Virginia, David Griffith of Dugger and Rick Griffith of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce White.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church in Dugger, with Rev. Joe Gambill officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City.
Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday at Bible Baptist Church in Dugger, 7878 Church Street Dugger, Indiana 47848.
