John David Rollison, 71, of Bloomfield passed away Sunday May 28, 2023 at the IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born May 7, 1952 in Linton, Indiana the son of John Thomas Rollison and Katherine F. (Hunter) Rollison.

John worked for the Bloomfield Police Department, Excise Police and was the deputy Coroner for the Greene County Coroners office for several years, he was retired. He was a member of the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge # 84, he had served as Master of Bloomfield and Bartimaeus, UD; the Newberry Eastern Star, Greene County York Rite, Linton First Untied Methodist Church

Surviving relatives include his wife Carla Rollison, Sister, Dorothy Moody Farnaham, sister-in-law, Norma Pope and two nieces.

John was preceded in death by two nephews and his parents.

Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Monday June 5, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will start at 1:00 P.M. with the Eastern Star service and Pastor Ben Biggs to follow with the service. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery with a Masonic service.

The family asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Jenkins Funeral Home to help with expenses.
