Jimmy Dean England, 69, of Lyons, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Greene County General Hospital.

Born November 15, 1954 in Avoca, Indiana, he was the son of James and Roberta (Reed) England.

Jimmy was a long-haul truck driver. He volunteered at the Family Life Center and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include: his wife of 50 years, Janet (Wilson) England of Lyons; his sons, Jimmy England of Bunker Hill; Brandon (Andrea) England of Woodlawn, Tennessee, Blake England of Lyons and Charles Eugene England of Bloomington; daughter, Tressa (Bubba) Derouin of Bloomfield; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sisters, Anna Sue (Tom) Lydy, Brenda (Jeff) Early and Sandy Tatlock.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry and Don England, his parents and his grandparents.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Kentucky Ridge Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
