Jerry Louis Nash, Sr. 73, of Lyons, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at his residence.

Born September 3, 1950 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri , he was the son of Robert Louis and Ada Pearl (Tapley) Nash.

Jerry worked as a car upholsterer and served his country with the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion in Lyons.

Surviving relatives include : his wife, Jeanette Kay Nash; his children, Robert D. Nash, Brian K. Nash (Shelli), Jerry L. Nash, Jr. (Stacy) and Nathan M. Nash (Hanna); sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren, 3 siblings and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Robert Hamm officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Jenkins Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
