Jerry Roy Lester 73, of Bloomfield, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at his residence.Born September 17, 1940 in Linton, he was the son of Roy Wright and Roberta (Alexander) Lester.He was a Carpenter and a custodian for the Bloomfield First Christian Church for 23 years.Surviving relatives include: his wife, Connie Lester whom he married October 13, 1961; two daughters, Heather Hayes of Madison and Holly Allman of Texas; one son, Nathan Lester (Tenley) of Montgomery; one sister, Jo Ann Sprinkle (Mike) of Carlisle; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by one grandson, Ian Hayes and his parents.Memorial services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Bloomfield First Christian Church, with Rev. John Mansel, Rev. Dave Wilde, Rev. Arlen Pope and Rev.
