Jeffrey Wayne Skomp, 44, Of Lyons, Passed away, Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in Bloomfield, Indiana. He was born May 14, 1968 To Irene and Joe Skomp.
Jeff worked in supply for the Army at Crane. Prior to that, he was in the 82nd Airborne for seven years, serving with the United Nations security team in Bosnia. He Served in the Gulf War.
He is Survived by his parents, Irene and Joe Skomp, two brothers, Jerry and Jason Skomp, one sister-in-law, Debbie Skomp, three Nephews, Jack, Hank, and Miles Skomp, and one niece, Anna Skomp.
He was Preceded in death by his grandparents, Faye and Joe Skomp, and Josephine and Theodore Strange.
Graveside Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 30th at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Lyons Food Pantry, C/O Donnie Reed, PO BOX 271, LYONS, IN 47443 OR The Ladies Auxiliary Of The Lyons American Legion.
