Jeffrey Michael Amato 55, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at his residence.
Born February 19, 1970 in Somerset, New Jersey, he was the son of Michael and Linda Kathleen (Stagg) Amato.
Jeffrey work at NSWC Crane. He served in the United States Coast Guard.
Surviving relatives include: his two daughters, Aubrey Thornsbury (Brandon) and Melissa Hanauer (Sean); his grandchildren, Evy, Walter, Hayden and Birdie; and two sisters, Laurie Thomas and Virginia Amato.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bloomfield American Legion Post 196, 125 S. Washington Street Bloomfield, Indiana 47424 on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
