Janne Snooks, 78, died at the IU Health Hospital on May 14, 2022. She was born to Bob and Bette Ingalls. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1962. She married Ronnie Snooks and had two children, Craig Snooks and Melissa Snooks (Scott) Pate. Her most treasured role was as Mom.

She had many jobs that included Hooks Drugs, Gosport Nursing Home, The Fashion Shoppe, Top Hat Tuxedo and finally, Indiana University's I.M.U. where she retired after 23 years of service. She was a 2nd Mom to many of the students she employed.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa and her son-in-law, Scott, two granddaughters, Courtney Snooks and her 4 legged one, Eisley Pate. Her sister, Sue Heffner and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving son, Craig, her ex-husband and first love, Ronnie and her parents.

Thank you to the employees of Stonecroft and Hearthstone who took such loving care of her during her illness.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.
