Jane Francis Metzger, 78, of Solsberry passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024 at her residence.

Born March 13, 1945 in Auburn, Washington the daughter of Rubin Elmer Rougutt and Muriel Lucille (Lehnert) Rougutt.

Jane was retired from SMC Pneumatics as a Plater, she loved hummingbirds, working in her flowers and plants, she also loved football.

Surviving relatives include her husband Gerald Metzger, her children, Danny Marshall, Sherry Warner, Gerald Metzger, Erica Metzger; she has eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, her siblings, Leslie Rougutt, Elaine (Walt) Renggli, Louis (Nancy) Rougutt, Susan (Gary) Jacobson, Mary (Doug) Shaw, Debbie (Mark) Harbert, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert C. Metzger and Sandra J. Metzger, seven nieces and eight nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son Tommy E. Marshall, three siblings, Teresa Gilreath, Lloyd Rougutt and Leo Rougutt.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 9, 2024 from 2 to 4 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

No services are planned.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes all memorial donations be made to Riley Children's Hospital in Jane's name.
