James Wesley May 77, of Bloomington, passed away at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Garden Villa of Bloomington.
Born August 22, 1933 in Greene County, he was the son of Ealey and Exie I. (Cunningham) May.
He was the Owner and Operator of May's Mobile Homes in Ellettsville.
Surviving relatives include: his children, Ernest L. May (Barbara) of Riley, James Dale May of Bloomfield, Beth Clemons (Bob) of Ellettsville and Chasity Molina (Hector) of Bloomington; His companion of 34 years, Eunice Vaught of Bloomington; three sisters, Marcella E. Koester of Florida, Helen Frieda Hash of Bloomfield and Thelma Michael of Solsberry; seven grandchildren and eight great, grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill, Luther, Dean and Lawrence, sisters, Catherine Koester and Betty Koester, one granddaughter, Heather May and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 1 hour prior to services Monday prior to the funeral.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
