James William Sparks' Obituary
James William Sparks, 84, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Sunday January 14, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born May 29, 1939 in Greene County, Indiana the son of Thomas Miles Sparks and Edna L. (Hardesty) Sparks.
James was heavy equipment operator for the Operating Engineer Local 103.
Surviving relatives include his children, Tom (Kim) Sparks, Tammy Harrah, Wade (Erin) Sparks, seven grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by one sister, Sue Warner Dickerson and his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1 to 2 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Micah Stephen officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
The family wishes any memorial donations be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery.
