James "Jim" Rice, 60, of Bloomington passed away Saturday April 21, 2012.
Born August 10, 1951 in Liberty, Kentucky the son of Robert and Jeanette (Carmicle) Rice.
Jim was a member of the Lifeway Baptist Church. He retired from General Electric (GE) in Bloomington in 2005.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary, his daughter and son-in-law, Chad and Rachel Stines and his granddaughter whom he adored, Chloe Madison Stines, all of Bloomington. Chloe was the delight of his life, he loved being a Grandpa.
Also surviving are his parents of Kentucky, two sisters, Barbara Carder of Texas and Diane Thomas of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation, a Private graveside service will be held.
