James Richard Picou, 58, of Bloomfield, passed away at 12:58 a.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born October 15, 1955 in Linton, he was the son of John and Verneda (Gillett) Picou.

Surviving relatives include: one son, Jim Picou of Bloomfield; one daughter, Amber Davis of Switz City; his brothers, Donald Picou of Owensburg, Lee Picou of Bedford, Larry Picou of Solsberry and Dale and Gene Picou both of Bloomfield; one sister, Cathy Johnson of Bloomfield; and his grandchildren, Kati, Jordan, Tabi and Savana.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Owensburg cemetery.
Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 1 hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to Riley hospital for children.
