James D. Norton's Obituary
James D. Norton, 61, of Bloomfield passed away at 9:45 PM Wednesday September 19, 2006 at Core Nursing & Rehab in Bedford.
Born April 28, 1945 in Syracuse, New York he was the son of Archie & Ethel Norton.
He retired after 21 years of service as an Electrician Tech at NSWC Crane. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War in the Air Force. He was a member of Bloomfield American Legion Post # 196.
Survivers include his wife Lois Marie (Page) Norton of Bloomfield. 1 Brother John Hyde of Arizona. 1 niece & 3 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, & 3 brothers.
Friends may call from 4 PM to 7 PM on Sunday September 24, 2006 & 10 AM till the hour Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday September 25, 2006 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Jeffrey Hauersperger officiating. Burial will be at Dishman Cemetery in Eastern Greene County.
