James William Carmichael, 68, of Indianapolis passed away Monday February 6, 2012 at the Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born January 11, 1944 in Indianapolis the son of LeRoy and Nellie (Chew) Carmichael.
James worked for Union Royal Rubber Company in Indianapolis.
Surviving relatives include his wife Patty Carmichael of Indianapolis, one son Richard Rose of Surfside, South Carolina, two daughters; Brenda Carmichael of Martinsville and Cindy Roth of Indianapolis, he has eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Friends may call from 11:30 until 12:30 on Thursday February 9, 2012 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons with Brother Sam Hill officiating.
