Iva G. Wells, 85, of Newark, passed away at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2012 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born February 7, 1926 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Edward and Hygia (Frye) Wells.
She worked for RCA on the assembly line for almost 40 years.
Surviving relatives include: one sister, Jean Litz (Hollis) of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews many of which she raised.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Junior Kirkley, her parents, and a special friend, Pettle Michael.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Raymond New officiating. Interment will follow in Newark Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 1 hour prior to services Saturday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
