Ida Adelene (Roberts) Parsley 88, of Owensburg, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born December 27, 1930 in Martin County, she was the daughter of Dewey "Vic" and Dora (Fisher) Roberts.

She was a homemaker. She married Leo Parsley on October 3, 1946 and they had two children.

Surviving relatives include: one son, Bill Parsley (Diana); three granddaughters, Gina Henderson (Patrick), Erica Hudson and Tessa Wolfger (Martin); and her great grandchildren, Jacob Henderson, Joseph Henderson, Kaitlynn Hudson, Emily Hudson, Will Hudson, Josie Wolfger and Finn Wolfger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leo Parsley on June 28, 1981, her daughter, Vickie Sue Thomas on August 16, 2018, four brothers, Dale, Kenneth, Elmer and Chuck Roberts; two sisters, Ruth Johnson and Arla Parsley and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Kentucky Ridge Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society.
