Howard Wayne Dorman, 87, of Bloomfield, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

Born November 28, 1937 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, he was the son of Henry and Edna Irene (Smith) Dorman.

Howard retired from ABB Westinghouse and served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Stanford Baptist Church.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Joyce (Gosch) Dorman; his children, Mike Dorman, Kim Dorman, Kurt Dorman, Doug Dorman, Elizabeth Gardner and Robert Dorman; one sister, Diane Dorman; five grandchildren and a great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Hunter, Jan, Darlene, Pat, Fred, Jim, Beth and Paul.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the Stanford Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Maple Grove cemetery in Clay City, Indiana.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
