Helen Louise (Norris) Noel, 90, of Bloomfield, passed away at 1:10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Greene County General Hospital.

Born May 29, 1926 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Paul and Laura (Bland) Norris.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Diana Jackson (Edward) of Bloomfield; James R. Noel, Jr. of Bloomington; one sister, Mary Phillips of Linton; her grandchildren, Brandy Arkell (Robert), J.R. Noel, Tiffany Noel, Lesley Buckler (Nick), Tisha Kivett (Aaron) and Noel Jackson (Tiffany); great grandchildren, Luke Arkell, Logan Arkell, Ethan Arkell, Rylee Kivett, Ryan Kivett, MacKenzie Buckler, Addison Buckler, Payton Buckler, Milea Heath and Noël Jackson; and her great, great grandchildren, Madelyn Arkell and Izabell Arkell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. "Bud" Noel on August 14, 1998, three brothers, Andrew Norris, Everett Norris and Gilbert Norris and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Interment will follow in Tulip cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
