Helen Allen Clark, 94, of Bloomfield, Indiana passed away Wednesday July 28, 2021 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon, Indiana, with her family by her side.

Born March 2, 1927 in Casey County, Kentucky the daughter of Chester and Retha (Sweeden) Atwood.

Helen worked as a cook at Indiana University and White's Bakery and Deli. Helen loved to crochet, read, travel and spend time with her grandchildren and family.

Helen is survived by her nine children, Carolyn Allen (David) Voorhies, Jim (Cathy) Allen, Rosemary Allen Biggs, Janice Allen Flynn, Daniel Allen, Gerald "Eddie" Allen, Pamela Allen Cunningham, Sharon Allen (OJ) Johnson and Brenda Allen (Allen) Rose, she has fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and five siblings, Shearl Atwood, Hazel Sroczynski, Don Atwood, Phyllis Black and Ruby Cox.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Roy Allen, her second husband James William Clark, seven siblings, Dorothy Allen, Dee Atwood, Earl Atwood, Marvin Atwood, Chester Wayne Atwood, Merel Atwood and Bernice Atwood.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Sunday and 12 P.M. Monday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Jeff Williams and Pastor Herb Stanley officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Cemetery.

The family wishes any memorial donations in Helen's name be given to IU Health Hospice or Newark Cemetery.
