Harold Victor Allor, 87, of Bloomfield passed away Sunday December 3, 2023 at his residence.

Born August 3, 1936, the son of Alton and Zulma (VanSlambrouck) Allor.

Harold worked for Ford Manufacturing in Monroe, Michigan; and Chevrolet Transmission Manufacturing in Toledo, Ohio, before moving to Indiana in 1968 to start his roofing company which he operated for many years with his sons, before retiring in 1993. H e was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include his three sons, Vincent M. Allor (Susan), Kirk D. Allor (Debbi), Chad A. Allor all of Bloomfield, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mary Koonz of Ohio, Marilyn Haynes of Florida, two brothers, Joseph (Rosa) Allor of Dundee, Michigan, Michael (Joann) Allor of Monroe, Michigan and many nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty Jean (Terry) Allor, one son Scott A. Allor, two sisters, Jacqeline Haynes and Helen Applin, three brothers, Albert, Robert and Julius.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

A Rosary Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Cremation will precede a memorial service and burial at a later date.

The family wishes any memorial donations be made to Grandview Cemetery in Harold's name.
