Grace Todd Miller passed away Tuesday November 7, 2006 at United Zion Home in Litiz, Pennsylvania at the age of 105.
Grace grew up in Lisbon, Ohio and graduated from high school there. She graduated from Kent State University and returned to Lisbon, where she taught in the elementary school for over forty years.
Grace was a member of Eastern Star in Lisbon and served as Worthy Matron of the organization. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Lisbon, Ohio and Loveland, Colorado.
Upon retirement from teaching in Ohio, Grace moved to Loveland, Colorado, where she met and married Mahlon Miller on June 15, 1968; and he passed away on January 9, 1969. She also taught Head Start in Loveland.
Grace traveled extensively both in the United States and Europe. She was active in church and politics. She volunteered at the Loveland Hospital and a Loveland Nursing Home. Grace was also an avid bridge player.
In November of 1991, Grace went east to Pennsylvania , for thirteen years. She is the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Grace was the Aunt of Robert R. Todd and wife Harriett of Leola, Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 11, 2006 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Tom Lapham officiating. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
