Obituary

Glen Morris Sparks, 85, of Switz City, In. passed away 11:55am Tuesday November 15, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born August 9, 1920 in Lyons Indiana he was the son of Welker T. & Florence (Nichols) Sparks.
He was an Army veteran of WWII, he worked as a coal miner, and a brick later before going to work for Citizens Gas in 1964. He retired in 1990. He was the time keeper for Switz City Central High School from 1951 to 1991. He married Anna Louise Greves on June 15th 1940. He was a member & deacon at the Lyons Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife Louise (Greves) Sparks of Switz City, In. 1 son Donald & his wife Carol Sparks of O'Fallon, IL. 1 Daughter Glenda Sue & her husband David Headley of Switz City, In. 5 Grandchildren Dan & Jan Scully of Dana, In. Doug & Lisa Sparks of Avon, In. Jay & Teresa English of Lyons, In. Chad & Jodi English of Worthington, In. & Jennifer Hostetter & Tim Brown of Bloomfield, In. 9 Great Grandchildren, 2 Brothers William "Bill" & wife Maryann Sparks of Noblesville, In. & Lowell & wife Jewell Sparks of Bloomfield, In.
He was preceded in death by 1 infant son William Robert Sparks, 2 Brothers Leland & Louis Sparks, & his parents.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Friday November 18, 2005 at the Lyons Church of Christ with the Brother Mike Kirby officiating. Burial will be at Switz City Cemetery in Switz City, In.
Friend may call from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday November 17, 2005 at Jenkins Funeral Home in LYONS, In. & 1 P.M. till the hour at the church.
