Glen Leon Marling's Obituary
Glen Leon Marling, 62, of Solsberry, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Monroe Hospital in Bloomington.
Born September 18, 1962 in Bloomington, he was the son of Robert Lee and Olive Leora (Bailey) Marling.
Glen worked for Robert Young Logging. He was and avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing and hunting with his children.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Lori Jayne (Deckard) Marling whom he married August 29, 1980; his three sons, Justin Marling, Levi Marling and Cameron Marling; eight grandchildren, Brayden, Lydia, Arabella, Braylee, Colton, Quentin, Josie and Waylon; and one sister, Lori Brooks.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Smithville Cemetery.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Jenkins Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
