Gerald "Pete" Thompson, 56, of Jasonville passed away Friday June 7, 2024 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Born September 14, 1967 in Bedford, Indiana the son of George W. Thompson and Shelby Jean Rollins.

Pete was a Carpenter, jack of all trades; he loved riding bulls and was a member the PBR and was an excellent truck driver.

Surviving relatives include his son Gerald "Petey" Thompson, his grandchildren, Brooklyn Mae Thompson, Howard James Thompson, Twins; Wade Williams Thompson and Logan Alexander Thompson, his step children, Amber D. Marling, Scherrie M. Cunningham, Dale W. Cunningham, Curtis M. Cunningham, he has twelve step-grandchildren, his siblings, Sandra Daffron, Cynthia Feutz, Pamela Deckard-Jimenez and several nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Thompson, one nephew, Connor Deckard, a step niece, Amanda Mann and his parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 15, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 1 to 3 P.M.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Keith Thompson officiating.
