George W. "Butch" Thompson, 70, of Bloomfield passed away Monday December 18, 2017 at his residence.

Born June 27, 1947 in Bedford, Indiana the son of George and Frances (Sipes) Thompson.

Butch worked construction and was a member of the Laborers # 741.

Surviving relatives include his wife Kelly Anne Thompson, his siblings, Don (Mary) Thompson, Ron (Sandy) Thompson, Anneta Dawson, Linda Mills, his spoiled rotten dog, Buddy and several nieces and nephews.

Butch was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Thompson and his parents.

There will be no public visitation.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family wishes any donations be made to the American Lung Cancer Society.
