Gary Joe Verseman 67, of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Born October 30, 1956 in Linton, he was the son of Gerhart K. Verseman and Martha Jane (Burcham) Veatch.

Gary drove a truck for Premier Ag. He was a member of the south-central Indiana antique truck club. He was a wonderful loving husband, Dad, PA, uncle, brother and friend. Gary was always there to lend a helping hand no matter what the situation.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Judy Verseman, whom he married August 18, 1979; two sons, David Hardin and Gary W. Verseman; his siblings, Bill Verseman (Cindy), Jim Verseman (Kathy), Mary Beth Baldridge (Mike); ½ brother, Dwayne Verseman (Barb); step sister, Kim Veatch; step brothers, Ron Veatch and John Veatch (Carol); his grandchildren, Nakia Hardin and Savhanna Hardin; step mother, Rosalie Verseman; step brother, Tracey Hamilton and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a step sister, Debbie Gentry ,a niece, Miranda Fletcher and his step father, Lee Veatch.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Jeff Rockey officiating. Interment will follow in Switz City cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Switz City Cemetery in Gary's name.
